Privacy statement for this website
This website collects as little data as possible. There are no trackers, no statistics and no fonts or scripts from third parties.
Who is responsible?
This website belongs to Gerling-aiT. You can send questions about privacy to info@verilak.nl.
What data do we process?
When you visit, the web server stores technical data needed to run the website safely, such as the IP address and the time of the request. We only use that data to detect faults and abuse, and we keep it no longer than necessary.
Hosting and security. The website is hosted by STRATO in Germany. Requests first pass through Cloudflare, which protects the website against attacks and overload and delivers the pages faster. To do so, Cloudflare sees your IP address and the request, and may process them outside the European Union as well. We have a data processing agreement with both parties; Cloudflare is covered by the EU US Data Privacy Framework.
When you email us, we use your name, email address and the content of your message only to answer your question or to arrange a pilot.
Cookies
We do not set cookies. That is why you see no cookie banner. Only when Cloudflare finds a visit suspicious may it
show a short check and then set a functional cookie (cf_clearance), so you are not checked again and
again. That cookie is needed for security and does not track you.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
The Verilak software
This statement is about the website. The Verilak software itself works offline on your workstation and sends no data to us. Read more on the page Security and compliance.
